Lots: 3129 or 3833
Bound auct. #2 is the sale of Tyssen's entire museum, while #105 and #108 contain only the coin sales, which took place in April and May of 1802.
The title page of #108 is different from #2, and there are only 3129 lots on 219 numbered pages, although every other page is also interleaved with a page of annotations. Bound auct. #105 is missing a title page, and initial index, but begins instead with the first page of the sale. Annotations are made directly on the sale, in pen, which may make them the easiest to read.
Bound auct. #2, #105 and #108 are all priced.
Bound auct. #2, #105 and #108 have all been scanned.
March, April, May, 1802
Notes
No bid sheet or prices realized insert. Some annotations can be found interleaved on alternating pages within the text. These alternating interleaved pages being unpaginated has also resulted in irregular pagination, and multiple page assertions. Annotations sometimes reach all the way to the outer edge of the page. Some skew results from printing conditions in the original. A single hand-drawn coin plate can be found at the center. Some pages towards the back are stained. The book plate at the back was pasted upside-down originally. No copyright page found.
